Genevieve is a cinematographer, director, and filmmaker passionate about storytelling in sports, culture, and underrepresented communities. Her work spans from films to documentaries to branded content.

She has filmed, directed, and produced video work for sports teams including Bay FC and for companies including DRAFTED, which is the first Latina sports media brand. Genevieve was also selected as a Sports Capitana for DRAFTED’s inaugural Sports Content Creator Ambassador Program.

Born and raised in the small agricultural town of Watsonville, California, Genevieve started her filmmaking journey as a teenager after falling in love with storytelling during her high school film class. Ever since, Genevieve has continued to explore storytelling that shines a light on her Latinx culture and community.

Most recently, she created and directed a docu-series highlighting the stories of local business owners in the food, music, and arts scene on the Central Coast.

Genevieve earned her B.A. in Cinematic Arts from California State University, Monterey Bay.
